For this year’s forecast report, we surveyed 600 HR and People Ops leaders to understand the current landscape of job accommodations. For the second year in a row, the majority of our respondents reported an increase in leave requests. We also got a look at what requests HR is receiving for accommodations, and what the key drivers are. Our report highlights how modern workforces interact with the ADA and its protections.
Resourcing HR with better, more efficient, and more supportive ways to manage accommodations is critical. Given rise of leave as an accommodation and its inherent complexities, HR needs a comprehensive solution to navigate complex requests. This report highlights both the challenges HR faces in 2025, as well as the ways HR teams would improve their programs.
